The City of Johannesburg is one of the most misunderstood cities.
It is a city of many faces and a history that has seen so much development, decay and redevelopment, prepare to experience this as well as art galleries, historical sites and see creative and urban oases right in the heart of the concrete jungle.
We will start our tour in 7th Street Melville, one of Johannesburg’s most famous entertainment locations. Here you will meet your guide/s who will fill you in on the tours activities and give you a brief introduction to the city of gold.
Our first visit will be a drive through Westcliff and a stop in the affluent Westcliff. This is one of Joburg’s oldest neighbourhoods and many of the magnificent mansions are national heritage monuments for their historical significance. We will have the opportunity to climb up Joburg’s Stairway to heaven, the Westcliff Stairs and will be rewarded with one of the most magnificent views of Johannesburg.
